Anyone remember BMW's Hall Of Fame-inducted, multi award-winning and world famous mouse/steering wheel TV ad from way back when? Well, Volvo Trucks doesn't or they chose not to when they decided to copy it. Putting that pretty big faux pas aside, they did make the idea better with this actual driving stunt. Enjoy.
Thirteen year old Nick has loved baseball for as long as he can remember. He always dreamed of being in the majors. He's a rising star in his home town of Kansas City. Well, he was. See, Nick was recently diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. He can't play baseball anymore. His dream, shattered until a bone marrow match is found and even then it' uncertain if he'll ever play again. So in stepped Google and as only they can, they brought his dream of one day playing in the big leagues to him. Helping him throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Yankees - A's baseball game ever 1800 miles away. Who knew technology could be the best medicine out there?
