Prepare your mouths, bellies and stretchy pants for some of the country's best chefs as they help you celebrate the end of year festivities with 3 days of flippen awesome gourmet inspiration. Yup, you guessed it. On the back of the decadently mouthgasmic Taste Festivals in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, comes the sure-to-be holidaylicious Pick n Pay Taste of Christmas at Joburg's Coca Cola Dome, 7 - 9 December 2012. Loads of food and shopping, of course, all under one roof. Yes, grab a souffle' and avoid the swarms of smelly, Croc-wearing, last minute mall shoppers so you can finally give some unexpected gifts to your loved ones. You know, some well thought out trinkets that'll fit any kitchen or hunger, and most likely give off a hue of rosemary and craft beer. Mmm....
Book now for the Taste Gift Ticket Special and for just R100, you'll get entrance to the festival, a tasting glass, and a bottle of Niel Joubert Sauvignon Blanc 2012. BUT you only have until 30 November to take advantage of this special. So no napping on this one, folks. The feast of great restaurants, cheese, wine and chocolate tasting won't eat it-flippen-self. For more info, hit up the Pick n Pay Taste of Christmas food festival on Facebook or Twitter.
Or if you wanna WIN SOME TICKETS without the hassle of booking, simply tweet the names of any two chefs who'll be at the Taste of Christmas in Jozi to @hewhosayshmm and use the hashtag #TasteofXmas - HINT: the answers are in a drop down menu on the website - nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean? Know. What. I. Mean? I'll pick a winner at a random time between now and, say, Friday. Yes. Excellent. Yummy. Aaaaaaaaaaand GO!

So today my Ride To Panadmonium "took me" to Ventersberg. It's a very, very special place and by that I mean slightly retarded. I mean, look at this horse. WTF Ventersberg? Thankfully I'm riding through you on the way to the WIllem Pretorius Nature Reserve tomorrow, where I'm hoping for some less creepy animals.

We all know Disney bought Star Wars for $4billion a little while ago and that they're planning to release Episode VII - something I'm unsure how to feel about yet. But, perhaps the coolest thing they've done so far to make their money back is this little "Build Your Own Lightsaber" stand at Disneyland. Who could resist this, even if it's not a fully functioniong lightsaber? Apparently you can choose the handle you want, either Darth's, Luke's, Yoda's... pretty rad. The question is how much would you pay for your very own lightsaber? Disney's hoping around $21.95. Bargain.

No editing. No tricks. Just pure magic. I really wish these two were still around making music. This is by far the best duet I've heard in years.
