My Latest Piece Of Awesome. Hmm...

The classic Alessi 9091 tea kettle with its distinctive double melodic whistles. It was Alessi's very first designer kettle, created way back in 1982... and now it's in my flippen kitchen. How rad? A big THANK YOU to my mom and her undying tenacity for tracking it down for me. I'm one happy, happy chappy.

The Return Of Alana The Surfer Girl. Hmm...

If, like a lot of South Africans right now, you're wondering where to go for your summer holiday, here's your answer. Anywhere with Alana the supremely fun and considerably hot surfer girl. How can you not given where she goes in this newest episode of her web series? The Kauai's Na Pali coastline to be exact. It's one of the most beautiful, remote places in the world with a treasure trove of hidden waterfalls, crystal blue lagoons, and teaming ocean life including bikini-clad girls. I can think of worse places to be. Tahiti with Adriana Lima for one. Check back next Monday for another awesome episode to make you hate your life and wish for her's :) Or you can watch the vi I previously posted about her expolits with a Go Pro. Yeah, do that in the meantime.

A big THANK YOU to Andrew Green for sending me the link. Keep 'em coming dude.

Is There A Cooler Band Than Imagine Dragons Right Now? Hmm...

Love these guys. Wish they'd make more videos though. Anyway, TipToe is my latest Imagine Dragons obsession. If you don't have their album yet, you have my permission to avoid work for a bit and download it. So flippen good.

The Wes Anderson Star Wars VII Audition Tape. Hmm...

Oh Conan. You're so silly.

Hello Vredefort! Hmm...

Goooooood morning! As you can tell, the endorphins are doing their job, as is the shot of espresso I just had. So, I'm another 20km closer to Camps Bay and I'm really starting to enjoy this little Ride To Pandamonium. Except for the cycle shorts. I just don't have the ass for it.

Anyway, and I'm sure you feel the same, I'm getting a little bored of the Google Map pic I upload every time. So I thought I'd add a little something to the mix. A pic of where I would be riding if I were not on a stationary bike in Melrose, doll.

Take today, I just "passed through" a little town called Vredefort and just like you, I'd never heard of it either, but look how pretty! Apparently it's home the world's largest meteor crater. Which is, umm, cool hey?

Anyway, that makes 120km since Thursday. Getting there slowly, folks. Have a rad day!

Hmm... Of The Day

The World's Best Acoustic Cover Band That You've Probably Never Heard Of. Hmm...

They're called Boyce Avenue and they're literally the most viewed cover band in the world thanks to YouTube. 777,713,435 views so far! I mean holy shit. They've played the MTV Awards, huge festivals, done a world tour... amazing for an "independant band" as they describe themselves. They'll cover anything and everything really and flippen well I might add. I bet you don't even mind the Taylor Swift cover above. I know I don't. All that said, they do perform original music, so they're not a pure cover band, but when your covers are this good, who cares?
