An Amazing Tilt-Shift Video Of One Of The Earth's Wonders. Hmm...

The Rice Terraces in the Philippines are approximately 1500 meters above sea level and cover 10,360 square kilometers of mountainside. It is said that if the steps are put end to end it would encircle half the globe. Did I mention it was all built by hand? You're right. That is amazeballs. What a brilliant part of the world to live in.

A huge THANK YOU to Oscar Nava for the link and, of course, for shooting the video. Nice job dude. Keep the awesomeness coming.

Hmm... Of The Day

The PANTONES Of People. Hmm...

Brazilian-born artist Angelica Dass is on a mission to record and catalog every possible human skin tone in the world by matching each one with the PANTONE colouring system. It's a Tumblr project she calls Humanae - a series of portraits with the background colour dyed to the ‘exact shade’ or skin tone of her subjects. I'm really loving PANTONE 75-6 C right now. PANTONE 108-6 C, not so much. Yech!

How & Why We Have "Aha" Moments. Hmm...

Jonah Lehrer is Contributing Editor at Wired as well as a frequent contributor to The New Yorker, Radiolab and The Wall Street Journal. He's pretty insightful. Here, at Behance's 99% Conference, he discusses the ins and outs of the all important "epiphany" creative people strive for so we can, you know, sleep and not pull out what's left of our hair.

SPOILER ALERT: 13 Min Of Dark Knight Rises Content. Hmm...

With just under 2 weeks to go till the final, and probably best of the Nolan Batman Trilogy coming our way, here's a little taste of the awesomeness that is The Dark Rises. I know. I know. You prefer to wait and watch the whole thing in the cinema. That's cool. Think of this as a test of your will power. Kinda like a fat kid trying to lose weight at a summer camp made entirely out of snacks. And while I applaud your tenacity, sooner or later we all know that kid's gonna have chocolate all over his face.

DC & Ken Bloc Gymkhana The Hell Out Of San Francisco. Hmm...

Looks like the streets of San Francisco may need some therapy after this one. Holy crap balls.
