A Filmmaker Chats With His 12 Year Old Self Using A Video He Made 20 Years Ago. Hmm...

In 1992, when Jeremiah McDonald was 12, he filmed himself talking to his future self. Now, twenty years later, he's made a new one called A Conversation With My 12 Year Old Self: 20th Anniversary Edition in which, you guessed it, he cleverly converses with his younger self and realises why he's still single. Hahaha. It's actually quite brilliant. And quite creepy. Enjoy.   

Amazing 3D Pencil Drawings By 21-Year-Old Nagai Hideyuki. Hmm...

Inspired by British 3D street artist Julian Beever, 21-year-old Nagai Hideyuki from Japan creates amazing 3D pencil drawings on paper using a projection technique called anamorphosis where the 3D illusion is created when viewed from a particular angle.

The story goes that at the age of 17, Hideyuki tried to become a cartoonist for some reason, but was told he had no talent. Three years later, he saw Julian Beever’s street art in the newspaper and decided he wanted to do something similar in the streets of Japan. Unfortunately, he soon found out that it was super illegal and thankfully resorted to paper... and thank fuck for that. How amazing is this shit?

 

The Prequel To The Wizard Of Oz. Hmm...

It's called Oz The Great And Powerful and it sounds pretty fricken amazing. Not only will it tell the tale of how a certain Oscar Diggs, a small-time circus magician with questionable ethics, became the actual Wizard of Oz, it has the help of James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Zach Braff to do so. Oh and some guy named Sam Rami is directing. Yeah, it's gonna be epic. It's scheduled for 2013. Not sure I can wait that long. Maybe if I click my heels. Hmm...
