It's a simple idea really, a device that lets you "like" things in real life. We had the privilege of meeting the LikeBelt's inventor at SXSW a few weeks ago and holy crap balls is he impressive. He and his team at DeepLocal that is. You know them, of course. They created Nike's Chalk Bot for the Tour De France a few years back. Yeah, they're flippen awesome, with a weird and wonderful treasure trove of robotic genius.

It's not even remotely like Harry Potter she says. Which I'm rather happy about. In fact, The Casual Vacancy is apparently more suited for adults who enjoy a bit of dark comedy as opposed to magical hijinks. It'll be available in hardcover, softcover, as an e-book and probably any which way one can find a book these days. After all, it's gonna sell billions probably... but only from Sep 27th. Bitch.

Sure, there are tons of videos out now from Coachella much like the Black Keys one above, but what if you didn't have to wait to watch them? The geniuses at YouTube are makeing sure you don't have to. Yup, they're streaming the whole festival live! I just watched Bon Iver and it was awesome!!!!! Radiohead's up next. I shit you not. So if, like me, you're not one of the lucky bastards who are actually there, hop onto http://www.youtube.com/user/coachella/live and get comfortable. It's gonna be a long Sunday.
