Base Jumping. The Latest Way To Skip Out On The Bill. Hmm...

4 Classic Ads Re-Imagined For The Web Generation. Hmm...

There was a talk about this project at SXSW. We queued for over an hour to get in, but it filled up like a fat kid at an all you can eat candy buffet. It's the one talk I really wished I'd attended. A brilliant, relevant idea from the smart guys at Google. But fret not. Fittingly, the entire project can be found online at projectrebrief.com

Here's the first one, Coke's "I Want To Buy The World A Coke" brilliantly re-imagined.
And here's the second one for Volvo's iconic "Drive It Like You Hate It" ad.

The other two are coming soon.

Farting & Rambo. How Could This Go Wrong? Hmm...

This is so flipped stupid. Funny. But stupid.

A Church, A Piano, Fiona Apple And Me (plus a few hundred others). Hmm...

So tonight Fiona Apple took to the stage for only the 2nd time in 7 years, the 1st being her show at Stubbs here at SXSW last night. Tonight's show was, well, underwhealming to say the least. Perhaps my standards are too high. I dunno. I love her music, truly, but tonight's performance was a mix horrible screaming and an hour of her not interacting with the crowd at all, which is more annoying than it is showmanship. It seemed she couldn't wait to get off the stage, which was a terrible shame considering her talent and the literal awe-inspiring venue she was performing in. I'm hoping it was just an off night for her. Come on Fiona. Dazzle us again. Please.

Bruce Springsteen's Truly Inspiring Keynote Speech At #SXSW. Hmm...

Today, I had the extreme honor of sitting just a few rows from The Boss himself as he delivered one of the finest speeches I have ever heard. Springsteen delighted us with an hour of wit, rhetoric, history, even a few amazing songs just to ensure our minds were completely blown. You can't help but hang on to every word. I wish you could have been there with me. That said, here's his talk in glorious HD.
