It's Called Run Jozi And It's Gonna Be Epic! Hmm...

On March 21st 2012, Human Rights Day, 10,000 runners will take back the streets of Jozi in a night run of awesomeness over 10km's through the CBD aptly named Run Jozi. Gotta love Nike, right? Tonight was its launch complete with celebs, fireworks, yummy foodage, freebies and of course a devastatingly amazing view of the City of Gold (see the pics below). Big thanks to Nike for hosting us and of course to Brandslut for adding me as her +1 ( big ups chicka!). Oh and if you're salivating at the chance to strut your stuff across the Joburg city centre, you'll be glad to know registration for the Run Jozi event is now officially open at facebook.com/nikerunningza. R50 for students and R70 for everyone else. There's no reason not literally run the city.
We met up at this amazing concrete and glass building near Newtown
Projections kept telling us to do stuff.
We did other stuff including but not limited to shenanigans and tomfoolery...
And I finally got the body I've always wanted. Thank you NIKE RUNNING

We then went into the venue.

It was draped in blue lights and massive screens...
There were fireworks followed by mouthgasmic tapas of chicken curries, creamy gnocci's, bunny chows and fried corn fritters. Everything a runner could want really...

More building projections...
And a super awesome gift on our way out...
1 X Glow-In-The-Dark Dry Fit T + 4gb memory stick/wrist band. Hooray free stuff!

A London Bedroom To 85 Million Views. Hmm...

Started by 15 year old Jamal Edwards in 2006 in his bedroom, SB.TV has grown rapidly in the past year with 150,000 subscribers on YouTube, a fly-on-the-wall documentary series on UK mainstream TV and over 85 Million views thanks to its mix of freestyle, can't-be-seen-anywhere-else, music videos and inside reporting on the UK's music scene.

Perhaps their biggest success story is that of Ed Sheeran. Two years since he posted a video on the then relatively unknown YouTube channel called SB.TV, almost in desperation, is now one of the hottest new musical talents in the UK, spoken of in high regard alongside peers including Adele, Florence & the Machine and Coldplay. That's viral, baby!

An Amazing Wes Anderson Mashup From Above. Hmm...

Coke's Doing Something Amazing This Super Bowl. Hmm...

Apparently there'll be two polar bears, each a fan of one of the NFL teams playing for the Championship. One will wear Patriots gear. The other, Giants gear. And every once in a while when one team scores or misses a kick or whatever, live TV will cut to one of the polar bears either really excited or angry about what's just happened. This could be the first "live" TV ad during the Super Bowl. Very smart media buys. Take note SA media people. This is how you do it.

Now That's A Rad Bookcase. Hmm...

Flying People In NYC. Hmm...

Before you pull your underpants over your tights, sit down and grab a warm cup of hold the hell on. The story is: three remote control people-shaped flying devices were released over New York City recently as a, wait for it, marketing stunt to promote Chronicle, an upcoming film that follows three teenage boys who can fly. What a rad ruse. Yes. I said rad ruse.

When Every Day Feels Like A Monday. Hmm...

Seinfeld Finally Makes A Funny Commercial. Hmm...

This will make you forget all about those super crappy Microsoft ads he did a while back.It will also make you remember that he owns like billions of Porsche's. And now he wants a Nissan? Sorry an Acura (fancy Nissan) - Flaw! Point and laugh at the creatives who came up with this. It is funny though.

How About Some Amazing Beatboxing This Morning? Hmm...

Here's the first single off of The Petebox's potentially brilliant debut album Future Loops. Download the audio track at thepetebox.com/flstore.htm You can also watch his live, video, studio album online at thepetebox.com/futureloops.
