Yesterday some good friends and I found ourselves in a rather fantastic place - the Clarens Brewery. It took 3 hours for us to get there from Jozi, but in no time we were not only sampling a ton of amazing beer, but getting a much obliged sneak peak behind the scenes, seeing how they brew all their delicious lagers and ales and such... If that wasn't enough, we then had the privilege of staying at the epic Rose House just outside of town. To put it bluntly, one could not eat or drink better than we did last night or be in better company. I could go on and on, but perhaps it's better to let the pics above speak for me. Point is, if you're ever in Clarens, hit the Rose House. In fact, if you're in Joburg, I recommend you get in your car and head there right flippen now. There are some amazing wines, beers and meals waiting for you.
