The iPhone 5. Apple's Best & Least Exciting iPhone Yet. Hmm...

It's that time of year again when Apple unveils its new, shiny iThings, its competitors begin copying those new, shiny iThings and we, the consumers, get excited, if only for a second, only to realise it's all just as shiny as it's always been. We'll still buy everything Apple puts out, but we'll bitch and moan about it. Weird, right? I mean they're so shiny! The problem with Apple is that they've taught us to expect Star Trek, but lately, they've only given us The Great Trek. Stuff that looks a lot like the past. We've seen this iPhone movie 6 times now and they're all just better remakes of the original. Which is fine. We still get the best phone in the world. The problem is, we want what comes after phones... Wired agrees.
