Tight Rope Walking Between Two Moving Trucks. Hmm...
Would you believe this is an ad for Volvo? They commissioned a champion tightrope walker (yes, it's a thing) to demonstrate the precision driving of their new trucks. She agreed to walk a tightrope stretched between two speeding Volvo trucks hurtling towards a tunnel that'll eventually sever the rope. I guess that whole idea of "safe" and "volvo" is long gone.

ReplyDeleteI cannot think of what need a man has that a truck will satisfay that is represented by this visual metaphor. It doesn't demonstrate anything other than the fact sensationalism sells, and content is dead.
