A Little Something To Help Keep Your Eyes On The Prize. Hmm...
JWT: 100 Things to Watch in 2012
Do yourself a favour and start on page 8. No need to go through JWT's boring setup.
What Will 2012 Bring? Ask A T-Shirt. Hmm...
Here's something new: one of a kind T-shirts, each individually predicted by a crazy lady with 12 cats, I mean a psychic named Lucinda Clare. Each T is printed with a personal prophecy, which will only be revealed when the T-shirt is in your hands. How? Magic. Why? Charity, of course. Every penny generated will be donated to Age UK, a charity aimed at improving life for the elderly. Nice idea from Mother UK.
Check out the site here.
Books. Is There Anything They Can't Do? Hmm...
What you're looking at is a series of incredible carved book sculptures created by the supremely talented Guy Laramee. He works mostly with old sets of encyclopedias and carves mountains, plateaus, and ancient structures out of them. As one does.
Can You Guess All These 80's Movies? Hmm...
Merry XXmas! Hmm...
So this is a brand spanking new demo that The XX have just released as a preview to their new album. Haven't made my mind up about it yet. I have a feeling it's gonna be pretty awesome. At least as a soporific.
Introducing The Nutspresso! Hmm...
At least that's what I'm calling it... but I digress. This morning I met my good friend @DirtyHerz for some yummy breakfast at Tashas. By the time we got our table, however, it became more of a brunch really. Were we sour at this horrible state of affairs? Not even a little bit. All thanks to this little coffee shot they now serve. "Holy shitballs of mouthgasmic awesomeness" should have been the description on the menu, and yet, four mere words "Nutella and Espresso shot" were more than enough to help you forget you've just wasted half your morning waiting in line with wanker Sandtonites. Gotta love #JoziShore
DJ Earworm's 2011 Mashup. Hmm...
If there's one thing to learn from this rather impressive mashup of 2011's biggest pop songs it's this, they're pretty much all the same song.
