I'm so flippen proud of my buddy, Bettles. Graeme Bettles that is. I remember him as a pup just a few years ago, toying around with art direction, and look at him now with a world-class design for what he calls The Sitting Lamp. I don't know about you, but I need one. Real bad. Like a french fry needs ketchup. Find him here to place your order.

How To Cheer A Jew Up With Christmas. Hmm...
It's been one of those days. You know the ones. You wake up all grumpy, all that weight you lost has somehow found you again and your agency is told it has sadly lost a pitch it should have won... and then, as if sent by Zeus himself, a bolt of Chocolate Block-shaped awesomeness arrives at your desk to shock you out of your rut and put a smile on your big, fat Jewish mug. A massive THANK YOU to the wonderful peeps at The Deli Artists United. You flippen rock! It's my first Christmas present of the season and as a Jew I just want to say, thanks for sending the good stuff! Ha Ha!

Oh, you're probably wondering about the strange dictionary in the pic. It's what I was using to cheer myself up before the vino arrived. I was on the word "Error." It's explained as follows: "The doctor made an error. He used a fountain pen by mistake. He meant to use a rectal thermometer."

A New Art Eatery For Jozi. Hmm...

First off, a big thank you to the awesome peeps at Jhb Live for posting about this new Jozi gem. It's called Velo Cafe' and, like the always awesome Wolves, they promise to feed both your soul and your tummy. I can't say I've been there yet, but it looks #amazeballs!
It's in Braamfontein, shop 2 in The Grove, cnr Juta and Melle, which makes me very happy. It's yet another incredible addition to an area that's continuing to usher in the positive upliftment Joburg so desperately needs and is now thankfully getting.
Need more convincing? Besides offering recycled furniture, WIFI, delicious goodies and art-covered walls, Velo's owners, Nick Duplooy and Stefania Magni, preach a strict policy of "Art. Coffee. Food." If that doesn't peak your interest, then Mugg and Bean called and your table with shit food and coffee, surrounded by people in Crocs who tuck their golf-shirts into their shorts is waiting for your order. You'll be having your usual, I take it?
Taxidermy. It's So Hot Right Now. Hmm...
Forget Chuck Testa (I know I've been trying to) and meet The Erratic Man, a band taking taxidermy to a new level. Song's not bad either.
Night Surfing In Bondi. Hmm...
Australia. When it's not trying to kill you, it can be pretty cool I guess. Thanks for the pics, Giggles.
The "We Really Need To Get Out More" Animated Infographic. Hmm...
