The Tohoku Japanese Earthquake Sculpture. Hmm...
The “Tohoku Japanese Earthquake Sculpture” by British artist Luke Jerram is a visualization of seismometer readings from the March 11 catastrophic earthquake. Jerram converted nine minutes of seismometer readings to a 3D cylindrical design, which was then 3D printed. Pretty rad, no? Well, not the earthquake part.
