When Mexican Food And Sushi Join Forces. Hmm...

So last night I attended the bi-weeky Art Walk in downtown LA. They basically turn a few blocks of the city into art galleries and let you explore the up-and-coming talent of LA. Suffice it to say, I wasn't too impressed with the "art" but they did have these amazing food trucks around, some of which are LA institutions. I ate at a Mexican/Japanese fusion truck. It was amazing. They sort of marry traditional Mexican foods like burritos, etc with sushi - really, really fresh, fantastic sushi. What you're seeing above is soft shell crab, spicy tuna, cucumber, shrimp tempura, eel sauce and sushi rice of course all wrapped in a soy paper burrito. Please, someone in Jozi, start doing this. It's radonk!
