Lighted Drumsticks & Long-Exposure Photography. Hmm...

The Art of Drums is the latest offering from Los Angeles art collective SceneFour. They're working with the likes of Guns ‘N Roses’ Matt Sorum, Def Leppard’s Rick Allen and even Stephen Perkins from Jane’s Addiction, just to name a few... to create a series of flippen cool images from the drummers’ legendary beat skills and then apply the visuals to canvas. All it takes are some LED's built into each drum stick, a camera and a dash of rock royalty to make it look awesome! Apparently they're planning on touring the US with giant canvases of the best photos taken, with about 20 legendary drummers giving it a go. Starts August 5th in LA. They better make a video. I'm just saying...
(Thanks Matt, if you're reading...)

Tomorrow It Begins. Hmm...

Tomorrow will mark day one at DDB, the agency made famous by original Mad Man, Bill Bernbach. And while he may never have actually said the words above, ever... his flippen genius leaves a lot to live up to. So with a gentle tip of our hats and a slight nutty poop in our pants we say, "Challenge accepted, Bill. Consider it AAAAWN!"

A Name On The Beast. Hmm...

Aww yeah. Hmm... along for the ride with tons of other names emblazoned on the side of a donated Ambulance (The Beast) all on their way to Mongolia. It's all part of the 1000 Traveling Names & A Donkey charity trek. Last I saw they left London and are now in Prague. So proud of you girls!

Sunglasses Made From Broken Skateboards. Hmm...

Design shop Shwood creates handcrafted wooden eyewear using fine exotic hardwoods... like skateboards.
