Over 1000 Hmm...'s. Hmm...

Greetings fellow Hmm...ers and Holy Crap! Today at 13:28 South African time, ironically with an unrelated posting titled "Something Awesome Happened Today," my little blog reached its 1000th blog entry! Not bad considering it's less than a year old. And while it hasn't changed the planet, not yet anyway, this blog of wonderful things has, I hope, widened many narrow persepctives on how amazing our world truly is. That said, a big THANK YOU must go out to all of you for inspiring me to inspire you. You're a great audience. He he he. All I can promise is to continue trying my best to give you a great show... one post at a time.

Foursquare Feeds Your Pooch. Hmm...

Check in at the dogfood billboard with Foursquare and it'll dispense some nosh for your dog to try. Clever. Now how can we feed, oh i dunno, millions of starving people with this tech?

Making The Most Of Using Less. Hmm...

Some may say these people live in Fantasy Land. Be that true or not, you can't argue with the fact that every little bit does indeed count. See if your company wants to play... head to Ecoinomy

Lick The Rainbow! Hmm...

Pixar Turns 25. Hmm...

SmartFourTwo's Very, Very Good New Campaign. Hmm...

Car advertising aint easy. And while these German dudes at BBDO Berlin may have "borrowed" from a certain super-awesomly famous graffiti-video artist named BLU, the insights in this campaign make it all worth watching, if only for some introspection. Not sure I'll ever want to buy the car though... Nevertheless, thanks for the think guys.

Pilot's Darkly Comedic Evolutionary Tale. Hmm...

Very cool spot for Pilot's new pen with eraser.

Sweet Little Songbird: Laurie Levine. Hmm...

Meet Laurie Levine, one of South Africa's most talented singer/songwriters and I'm not just saying that 'cos we drank a bunch of tequila last night ;) She and my good friend Gur Geva (who drank Jaeger and milk I might add) just created an amazing track for a campaign we've been working on and, well, it's just flippen, toe-tapping, can't-get-it-out-of-my-head awesome. I'll post the track once I get their permission of course :) but in the meantime, please enjoy one of Laurie's music video's above or go to her site to see what the heck I'm on about.

WWF Turns The Lights Down Low. Hmm...

In support of the world's fifth Earth Hour and created for the World Wildlife Fund, the CandleHour app turns your iPhone into a virtual candle, providing the light of a real candle through a zero-emission flame. Sexy, sexy times.
