Back in 2009 IKEA used Facebook to promote its new Malmo store in Sweden. They created a Facebook profile for their store manager, Gordon Gustavsson, who uploaded photos of IKEA products to his page. Facebook users could then race each other to tag the items with the first to do so winning the actual item. Now IKEA is back offering more tempting prizes: $10,000 worth of IKEA products for three lucky people. All you need do to participate is upload photos of your makeover-needy bedrooms, explain how IKEA can help you overcome your bedroom nightmares, oh and you kinda have to live in Hong Kong.

I was lucky enough to spend the long weekend with some good friends in Dullstroom. We stayed at a little place called Millstream Farm. It really is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. As you can tell from the photo, you stay in a two-story stone house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by dams, rolling hills, heck the first night about 8 or so horses came by to check out our braai. It was surreal. Best of all, cellphone reception is terrible, which means you actually get to relax for a change. Check it out at millstreamfarm.co.za
