This snapshot of their site intro says it all really. Well, except for the part where you can make your own digital music albums, design their covers and share them. Go check it out. It's super rad.

So my team and I have been working on a massive Eskom job for the past few months. It's called 49M, a reference to the 49 million-strong population of South Africa. In a nutshell, it's a 5-year Eskom/SA Govt initiative to encourage every South African to save as much electricity as we can so we don't have to endure the numerous, economy-breaking blackouts and loadsheddings of 2008 ever again. Yesterday we were invited to its huge governmental launch at Turbine Hall, a defunct power station in the middle of Jo'burg that's now one of the most architecturally impressive buildings in the world. (If you haevn't been inside yet, go. Go now!) Anyway, as you can see from the pic above, being at the event felt a little like we were in that 1984 Apple ad from 25 years ago. Though, instead of Big Brother, loads of Ministers we present to pledge their support of 49M. Even the Deputy President, who stepped up to champion the cause. Which is pretty rad. He gets shit done. Lekker. Oh, check out the website. Sign up even. Do the right thing.
