Thousands of undiscovered footballers from around the world seized their opportunity to earn a contract with the Nike Academy 2011-12. Only eight players earned a spot in the Academy and will not go on to learn from top-level coaches, train like pros and play a full season of football in the UK under the eyes of Premier League scouts. Get this, two are from South Africa! Ryaad Pieterse (goalkeeper) and Jonathan King (right back). Well done boys!!!
