Perhaps it starts with the ticket, good for admitting one transitional being. Part of you will absolutely change, no doubt about it. Maybe it's the non-stop, kickass music from the world's greatest djs or the 100's of art cars driving around or the lengths burners will go to amaze those around them. It could simply be the fact that for 7 straight days you never hear the word "no" or that you're surrounded by 60,000 like-minded people who ensure that there's an amazing moment to share every minute of the day or night or that it truly feels as if you're living on another planet - one colonized by those only interested in happiness, spirituality and creativity - a place without judgement, where you're greeted with "welcome home" the minute you enter the playa. It could just be the massive explosions at the end of it all that return us all to Earth in a tearful exhale till next year's Burn... Whatever it is, all I do know is any photo, story, moment, audio or video clip is merely a miniscule percentage of a fraction of a pixel making up the radonkulous Super-HD eyegasm that is Burning Man. You'll have to go to truly understand... And you'll be all the happier for it, I promise.
