Years ago Gabe Dixon and I attended The University of Miami. While there, he and the creatively-named Gabe Dixon Band cut an amazing album, toured the US and even played with Billy Joel at The Benefit Concert For NYC after 9/11. Did I mention he also played all piano tracks on Paul McCartney's last album? Yeah, he's pretty talented. They've played on the Late Night Shows in the States, their songs have been used as soundtracks on TV shows and movies... and now Gabe is going solo. I have to say, I've always been a huge fan and even though I've sorta lost contact with him over the last few years, I'm super happy to see he's still making flippen rad music.
