Ji Lee & The Importance Of Side Projects. Hmm...

This simple graphic is from Ji Lee's Creative Mornings talk last month. He made a point of stressing how personal projects can feed into your professional life and vice versa. I couldn't agree more. Too many of us act like life and work are the same thing. There needs to be a clear distinction and separation between the two so that we're not just rinsing and repeating all the bloody time. I guess his point was that sometimes, if you're lucky, great aspects of what you do in your life and work will intersect and you'll be able to use them to create something truly amazing. I'm still waiting for the peeps at Creative Mornings to upload the video of his talk to get a better understanding. I'll post it once they do.
