1984 Causes Some Kak. Hmm...

So a friend of mine at 1984 - a division of Ogilvy Jhb - has just caused a bit of a stir in Joburg. He orchestrated the handing out of hundreds of controversial pamphlets at traffic stops. Each pamphlet had details of a  certain Dr Ubu asking people for their body organs in return for cash. There's a phone number, email address, even a website. Now, as this is Africa, it's a bit of a contentious issue and the news stations, even one fo the political parties, have latche don with their mouths foaming in anger... Turns out the campaign was a spoof, designed to garner advance publicity for a South African horror film called Night Drive, involving rhino poachers turned muti murderers. Some say it's in bad taste. Some say it's just advertising. Ogilvy, the ad agency at the helm of this, have just apologised prufesly to the public, promising to discilpline the creatives at 1984... yada yada... Kinda spinelss, don't you think Ogilvy? This guy thinks so.
