The World Cup In 3D. Hmm...

Tonight I was invited to watch the Germany vs Uruguay game in 3D. We went to the cinemas @ The Zone and let me tell you, apart from actually going to a game, there is no better way to watch World Cup football. That said, I'm not convinced that the experience  would be the same watching at home on one of those new 3D TV's. The fact that the screen was so huge and the sound was superb really made it special. I seriously hope they do this with rugby, especially since the Rugby World Cup is next year in New Zealand. It'll be amazing to watch The Springboks take it all in 3D!
