I ran into quite a few of these lovely people today. First at the airport in Paris where I was made to take almost everything out of my backpack, not just the laptop, no reason given, just because they said so. Then they made me take off my hat, my shoes, my belt, my cardigan, even my Lacoste sweatband from my wrist. Apparenlty it, above all else, has the intense capability of storing weapons of mass destruction. So unpleasant. Then on the plane I found myself surrounded by even more idiots who decided it was a really good idea to bring lots of crying babies on board. And then I arrived home just in time to enjoy 3 hours of bumbling plumbers trying to fix a water pump. But, I'm a glass half full kinda guy. So I'm not going to let today get me down. I've just come back from the most amazing few weeks in Europe and I'm gonna keep my streak of good times going! So, tonight I'm meeting up with some friends at The Attic (come along if you read this in time) and then we'll hit The Roger to watch Spain drill Germany! Yes, I agree with the octopus. Spain will win.
