World Cup fever (including a "fan-man" made from 2500 Coke bottle crates. Hmm...

Mexican or Mexican't? Hmm...

Nice one Nando's.

Ha ha. Hmm...

Social commentary from township teens. Hmm...

Last night I attended the Umuzi Photo Club exhibition at 44 Stanley that I blogged about on Monday's Hmm... of the day. It was pretty cool even though the place was packed! Actually, now that I think about it, that made it all the better. It's always great to see a relatively small local project gain momentum. The photographic work wasn't the best I've ever seen, but then again the photos were all taken by kids in townships, most in grade 9 and who aren't all that experienced with cameras. Taking that into account, it was pretty impressive. The rad part is that a few of them have now been invited to photograph some of the World Cup games and have been given passes to be on the field to do so. I'm a little jealous. Just a tad. A lot. Okay, more than a lot.

Shaun-T's Insanity. Hmm...

So I'm trying out this new excercise routine called SHAUN-T's INSANITY. You'd think that the name alone would instantly show up as a red flag, but no. Apparently I enjoy pain while looking like a retard. I will say this though, it's incredible. Calories burn up like you can't believe, endorphins run rampant and you feel amazing right after the workout. In fact, and it's probably the first time this has ever happened in real life, I can promise you that after the session, you'll look just like those well-toned bastards in the video do - DEMOLISHED! They're wincing and falling down and out of breath and so is Shaun T, so you know it's a great workout. It's not one of those silly videos where everyone's smiling and telling you how great it feels. They can barely keep up. That said, if anyone wants to try it, I'll gladly pass the pain on to you free of charge. It's kinda worth it but kinda not, if you know what I mean.

Hmm... of the day

Amen.
