While this isn't my smiling cup of coffee, it might as well have been.
Today began with a grave error at work being fully rectified to the sight and sound of my art director and I high-fiving. I'm not going to bore you with the details. Let's just say it's always best to speak up and fight for what's right no matter what the risk may be.
Then at about 1pm or so, about 40 of us fled the agency to enjoy a debaucherous and well deserved yet-surprisingly unrelated celebratory lunch, that's probably still going on. In fact, I'm sure of it. Thank you company credit card!
I ended up leaving at about 7PM, just as people were getting into the swing of things. I had to hit the gym you see. Can't be walking around la Croisette in Cannes in a few weeks looking all flabby. Okay, that's a lie. I totally can. I just don't want to.
Now to watch the finale of Lost. If it ends with it all being a dream Hurley had after eating a bad burrito he bought from a petrol station, I'm gonna flippen scream. Fingers crossed, people. That said, I'm still pretty sure they're all dead, as I said watching Season 1 many, many lives ago.
